Description
Must be former of one of the following: CCT, Pilot, Para-Rescue, JTAC
Survivors will role-play injured personnel during three combat search and rescue vulnerability periods. Survivors will simulate medical patients, maintain realistic responses, and follow the assigned scenarios to support CSAR training objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Act as medical patients during vulnerability periods, simulating injuries and responses as per scenario requirements.
Wear and maintain moulage (simulated injuries) and ensure the use of fake blood (1 quart minimum per scenario).
Operate Combat Survivor Evader Locator (CSEL) radios and maintain accountability during exercises.
Remain in character until the conclusion of each VUL.
Board Air Force HH-60 and HC-130 aircraft as part of roleplaying responsibilities.
Be subjected to realistic medical procedures, including IV administration, simulated medication, and bandaging, within the scope of the scenario
Requirements
Prior military service is required, with experience as infantry or in a combat arms occupational specialty preferred. Combat deployment experience in Afghanistan or Iraq is highly desirable.
Former CCT and/or Pilot
Ability to lift 50 pounds, mount/dismount vehicles without assistance, and maintain good cardiovascular health
Current Secret clearance required (Top Secret preferred).
