Position Overview: As our Property Manager, you will reside in a separate on-site cabin and be responsible for ensuring our guests have an unforgettable experience. This unique opportunity allows you to live amidst breathtaking landscapes while managing a premier mountain retreat.
Location: Oakley, Utah - Oakley is a small town of approx 1700. The Cabin is roughly 20 minutes from Oakley. In Oakley you will find a market and a couple of restaurants. Kamas is a few miles from Oakley, where you will find many other restaurants, a grocery store and other shops. Park City is about 36 miles away and has all the amenities you can ask for. Salt Lake City is 57 miles away.
Salary: $50,000 per year + Free Rent & Utilities + Work Truck
Type: Full-Time, On-Site
Responsibilities:
Guest Communication: Handle booking inquiries, reservations, and provide prompt, friendly communication with guests.
Preparation: Prepare the cabin for guest arrivals, including shopping for groceries and other essentials.
Guest Welcome: Warmly welcome guests upon arrival and provide a thorough orientation of the property and amenities.
Guest Relations: Check in on guests throughout their stay, offering assistance and services as needed.
Vehicle Management: Check in and out motor-powered vehicles rented by guests, ensuring they are in excellent condition and serviced at the local dealer.
Property Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks and manage any necessary repairs. Landscape maintenance including planting flowers annually, weeding and lawn mowing and maintaining the cleanliness and beauty of the property grounds.
Residential Maintenance: Including changing HVAC filters, cleaning windows and cleaning the lodge after each stay including laundry, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning restrooms, etc.
Project Work: Take on various projects to enhance the property and guest experience.
Winter Duties: During winter, transport guests from a designated meeting point to the cabin using vehicles equipped with snow tracks, keep entrances shoveled and salted, etc.
Requirements:
On-Site Living: Must live on-site in the provided cabin.
Hands-On Skills: Handyman skills for maintenance and repair tasks.
Hospitality: Excellent customer service skills and a friendly, welcoming demeanor.
Adaptability: Ability to handle various tasks and projects, ensuring the property is well-maintained and guests are satisfied.
Winter Preparedness: Comfort with winter conditions.
