What does a Cartage Coordinator do?A cartage coordinator is the pulse of our cargo movement, works with all products to ensure proper timelines, provider management (transportation companies) and dispatch, cost control, warehouse synchronization and much more. Cartage Coordinator Duties and ResponsibilitiesCoordinate with Import, Export, Transcontinental, and warehouse team, along updates and scheduling of our national cargo movement provider to navigate proper flow of goods.Manage local territories, collect transportation data, and fulfill reports on pick-ups and deliveries.Oversee and prioritize pick-up, movement, and delivery with service providers, track daily requirement and improvements, conduct reviews, root cause analysis, costs, inventory, and updates to internal parties.Communicate volume fluctuations and warehouse staffing/scheduling needs to warehouse leadership for evaluationAssist warehouse needs when cartage duties are completed
