The Product Manager - Multi Channel Electronic Communications Archiving will be part of driving the future of modern enterprise information archiving and have the opportunity to fundamentally impact teams and productivity across the globe. Reporting to the Director of Products, the Product Manager for Multi-Channel Electronic Communications Archiving will be responsible for delivering new products and solutions to support Micro Focus' strategic direction in the Information Archiving and Data Analytics markets while driving revenue across the product portfolio. This includes definition of requirements and evangelism for high-scale, compliant ingest for collaboration, social media, mobile, chat, audio and video channels with an objective of creating a consistent view, supervision and export during discovery and surveillance in the world's premier regulated environments.

The Product Manager for Multi-Channel Electronic Communications Archiving will:
  • Have product management and lifecycle responsibility for product offerings within the Information Archiving markets
  • Identify product opportunities by analyzing customer needs, market trends and competitive gaps; champion and present opportunities to management for consideration
  • Will oversee the research of customer business needs and market requirements; be the voice of the customer
  • Ability to manage partnerships and ensure Micro Focus stakeholders are working effectively with those partners to deliver world-class services and customer experience
  • Will ensure customer needs are translated into user requirements with the appropriate business case, impact analysis, competitive analysis, and financial forecasts
  • Work with development, go-to-market functional groups and leadership to define the strategic vision and roadmap for the product line
  • Lead as internal product champion; evangelize product vision and direction throughout the organization
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with analysts and partners.
  • Will work in concert with the Solutions and Product Marketing organization

Education and Experience Required:
  • BS in CS/EE or equivalent, with a technical background and formal business training (MBA preferred)
  • 5 years experience in highly regulated industries and associated regulations (e.g., Banking, Financial Services, Insurance, Healthcare, Government)
  • Experience with or knowledge of collaboration, social, financial and mobile channels, knowledge of compliant voice ingest and supervision desirable
  • Experience in creating integrated products that are used pervasively across large enterprises

Skills and Knowledge Required:
  • Strong financial skills, including forecasting and trend analysis
  • Excellent organizational skills, including an ability to lead projects
  • Experience in systems management, performance monitoring, analytics and web technologies
  • Product Management certification a strong plus (e.g., Pragmatic Marketing or equivalent)
  • Ability to translate strategy into consumable tactical plans for teams and constituents
  • Superior presentation skills with comfort and effectiveness delivering both technical and executive level content and messaging
  • Ability to prioritize among competing opportunities, balance customer needs with business priorities, and articulate the rationale behind decisions
  • Ability to set strategic direction and implementation strategies
  • Experience in agile / scrum development processes
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel 15% when Covid restrictions are lifted.
