We are seeking a part-time, live-in caregiver to be a companion to our 22-year-old daughter who has special needs. The role involves being a friend, facilitating social opportunities, and assisting her in developing skills for greater independence with personal care and household tasks.
We're looking for someone with a warm, fun personality, a great sense of humor, and the willingness to form a meaningful connection with her. Ideally, we want a roommate who can motivate her to be more active and independent, and who wants to hang out and become a true friend.
As a live-in companionship and caregiver role with part time hours (17 hours per week), all other time would be your own to come and go as you please. We're looking to create a roommate like experience for our daughter - a roommate who may live her life independently but spends part-time being a companion to and building a relationship with our daughter. Total value of compensation is approximately $1,500 per month which includes free rent, utilities, WiFi, meals, a monthly stipend, and a renters insurance policy. You'd have a private room in our home and a dedicated garage parking space.
