We are looking for a dedicated Cath Lab Manager like you to be a part of our team.Job Summary and QualificationsThe Cath Lab Manager is responsible for the effective implementation of the philosophy, goals, policies and procedures of the hospital, department and Cardiac Catheterization Lab and its efforts on patient care. The manager can make decisions on the unit in patient care, human resources, and fiscal management. Responsible for overseeing the day-to-day flow of the Cath Lab and Electrophysiology Lab. You will have experience with role modeling and sustaining patient and family centered care and direct staff as they care for patients and educate families.
Accurately identifies real/potential problems affecting the service and implements solutions with follow-through and communication.
Actively and regularly teaches new techs and traveler techs the proper policies and procedures specific to Timpanogos Regional Hospital Cath Lab.
Competent to scrub all procedures.
Demonstrates knowledge of the occurrence reporting system and uses the system to report potential safety issues.
Effective leadership through communication, collaboration and interaction with the physicians and staff in the delivery of Cardiovascular Services
What qualifications you will need:
RN (Current State of Utah or Compact Registered Nurse License), RT, RCIS, or RCES;
Bachelor’s (B.S.N.) degree required and Master’s (M.B.A., M.S.N. or M.H.A.) degree preferred.
Minimum 2 years’ experience working in a Cath Lab
3 or more years of previous experience in all aspects of critical care nursing.
American Red Cross or American Heart Association Basic Life Support Course (BLS or BCLS) and Certification within 7 days of hire
American Red Cross or American Heart Association Advanced Life Support Course (ALS or ACLS) and Certification. Must obtain ACLS certification within 90 days from date of hire and then maintain certification.
Previous management experience preferred.
