Currently, RG is looking to hire a Software Programmer to support our Air Force customer. This role will be critical in supporting our customer’s overarching mission of supporting the warfighter.
A Day In the Life:To help make our customer successful, the chosen candidate can expect to be involved with or responsible for:- Cradle-to-grave development process working directly with the client to collect requirements, developing pages while working on an Agile team, and briefing/training the product as it is developed with end-users
- Providing maintenance support as needed
- Working with minimal oversight and taking initiative to complete projects
- Creating financial and production analyses and presenting findings to customer via web-based reports/charts or in briefing form
- Understanding and implementing complex calculations in SQL queries
- Performing data mining activities on complex database layouts for multiple systems (including AF legacy)
- Absorbing the customer business practices, anticipating customer needs, and providing valuable solutions
- Presenting data, findings, and training materials as requested
- Performing software conversion from Classic ASP to ASP. Net in C#
- Technical Skills: fluent in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Other skills: Communication, client relationship management, analytical/problem solving
- BS/BA Degree
- Experience in critical path scheduling
- 4+ years of .NET experience and/or Java based applications
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC
- SQL, MySQL, SQL Server, or Oracle database knowledge
- Ability to obtain a CAC
- Candidate must live within 400 miles of Hill AFB with an ability to attend as-needed site visits (anticipated at <10%)

- Java or C# development
- Experience with the USAF Software Development Programs
- Experience in a maintenance environment
- Analytical experience
- Current clearance and/or recent CAC
