DescriptionRESPONSIBILITIES
Provide First aid treatments to injured employees from various parts of the facility
Must be able carry, lift, and maneuver first aid response bag (weighing between 30-40 lbs.), back board, stretcher, AED, wheelchair and any other medical necessities when responding to an incident
Exposure to various chemicals, machinery, and knives likely
Perform drug and alcohol screening as requested
Assist with annual hearing testing for facility employees
Assist in conducting daily restricted duty checks
Document and maintain treatment records after each employee visit or communication
Be an acting liaison/representative between Safety, Occupational Health, H.R., and Operations
Other duties as reasonably associated with the above duties as assigned
Good understanding of Job Ergonomics
Other Duties, as required
QUALIFICATIONS
Certified medical assistant or higher required (must be currently certified and experience is preferred)
Ensure all new hire employees have the resources to be successful
Follow-up with floor supervisors, trainers, and H.R. trainer for additional needs
Must maintain a clean and orderly work area
This position needs to be courteous and professional at all times when communicating with employees
Combination of office setting as well as production and maintenance settings
Ability to work in variable temperatures
High School Degree / GED equivalency required
Entry level computer skills: Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook
Bilingual English and Spanish is preferred
