RESPONSIBILITIES:Kforce has a client who is seeking a Data Information Engineer to join their team in Draper, UT.
Summary:This position is responsible for the day to day administration of the secure FTP site and file mover applications. This position also builds and maintains file mover jobs in a scheduling application that delivers files internally and outbound to clients, carriers, and file vendors.Responsibilities: Creates secure FTP accounts based on the needs of clients/vendors that delivers or retrieves files Resolves FTP issues with clients, vendors, or carriers; This includes troubleshooting connectivity issues, reviewing scheduled jobs, and answering questions about the FTP site Has a general working knowledge of appropriate security measures that are used to protect data in transmission. This includes PGP (Password Generation Protocol), as well as SSH (Secure Shell) or SFTP (Secure File Transfer Protocol), SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) and AS2 (Applicability Statement 2) connection methodsREQUIREMENTS: Knowledge of information technology or business or a closely related field as normally obtained through the completion of a Bachelor's Degree in computer science or business Experience should include a minimum of two years' experience with File Movement Protocols (SFTP,FTPS, SSH, AS2,etc.), data security and client facing environments Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills are essential and the ability to analyze data and recommend tools and solutions is requiredKforce is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
