Our busy dermatology practice is seeking a Medical Assistant to join our team!Aspiring Physician Assistant candidates looking for prerequisite clinical hours are strongly encouraged to apply.Duties: Understand and explain dermatological proceduresAbility to communicate with patients and understand their concernsUnderstanding of skin care productsAbility to handle multiple patientsDocument patient visits and take accurate notesType at least 40 wpmPrepare and clean surgical rooms and instrumentsAnswer basic patient questions regarding medical proceduresUnderstanding of computers and medical record softwareQualifications: Professional dress and appearance are absolutely requiredStrict attention to detail and the ability to finish tasksNo piercings other than earsNo visible tattoosNatural hair shades onlyPolite demeanor and customer service attitudeAbility to provide an exceptional experience for our patients/clientsBilingual in Spanish is an advantageJob Type:Full-Time; Monday – Friday varying hours between 7:30am – 4:30pmExperience:Prior customer service/medical scheduling experience is required.Medical Assistant experience is requiredBilingual Spanish speaker preferredEducation:High School Diploma or equivalent is required
