Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Software Engineer in the Energy/Natural Resources industry, located in The Woodlands, Texas. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex cloud solutions in enterprise environments, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries.Responsibilities: Design, implement, and manage complex cloud solutions based on the Azure platform. Maintain accurate customer credit records and take appropriate actions when required. Use infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation for deployment and management of cloud services. Automate processes and workflows using scripting languages like Python and PowerShell. Apply strong understanding of cloud architecture patterns and best practices for scalability, high availability, and disaster recovery. Conduct root cause analysis and troubleshoot complex issues, translating business requirements into technical solutions. Leverage skills in Android Development, Atlassian Jira, Backend Development, Bug Tracking, C, AB Testing, Agile Scrum, API Development, CSS, Defect Management, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless integration and high-quality output. Stay updated with the latest industry trends and advancements in cloud architecture and software engineering. Requirements Must possess a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field. Demonstrated expertise in Android Development is required. Proficiency in using Atlassian Jira for project management and bug tracking. Solid background in Backend Development. Strong knowledge of C programming language is essential. Experience in AB Testing and Agile Scrum methodology. Familiarity with API Development. Proficiency in CSS for front-end development. Understanding of Defect Management processes. Experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) for cloud-based solutions. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Proactive in learning new concepts and skills. Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
