Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented individual for a temporary position focused on completing a Punch Out List for a one-month project. The ideal candidate will have experience in various construction tasks and be proficient in using power tools. This role requires a strong ability to identify and rectify issues in newly constructed or remodeled spaces, ensuring that all aspects meet quality standards before final inspection.
Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections of the construction site to identify items on the Punch Out List that require attention.
Perform trim carpentry tasks, including installation and finishing of moldings and trims.
Execute flooring installation, ensuring proper alignment and secure fitting.
Fabricate necessary components as needed to complete projects efficiently.
Apply caulking to seal gaps and joints, enhancing both aesthetics and functionality.
Assist with electrical tasks under supervision, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
Utilize power tools effectively for various construction tasks while adhering to safety protocols.
Collaborate with team members to complete remodeling projects on time and to specifications.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment throughout the duration of the project.
Document progress and communicate any challenges or needs for additional resources.
Experience
Proven experience in construction or remodeling, with specific skills in trim carpentry, flooring installation, and caulking.
Familiarity with using power tools safely and effectively in a construction site environment.
Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications is highly desirable.
Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail to ensure high-quality work.
Previous experience working on Punch Out Lists or similar projects is an advantage.
