We are looking for someone to help with a short term job.
Responsibilities include loading a truck bed, using hand trucks, moving, sorting and placing boxes/bins, warehouse shelving assembly/placement, work table assembly/placement, some furniture assembly and placement. Installing door and security locks. Breaking down boxes/packaging and hauling to recycle store in NB, (mileage paid), installing a ceiling fan, and other small handyman type tasks as necessary.
You should have good familiarity with hand tools and possess some basic handyman skills. Having an impact driver or at least a screw gun would be helpful, but not necessary. You must know how to safely and be able to lift at least 50-60 lbs unassisted, climb ladders, bend or squat to floor, and reach over your head.
You must have reliable transportation, a working phone, accepting text messages, and have a strong command of the English language. You should be comfortable using basic office type software programs. There may be some internet research required. Also having knowledge of FB and FB Marketplace, eBay, and Instagram would be an advantage.
There will be a drug screen and background/dmv check required. Please do not apply if you cannot pass those requirements.
This is a short term trial job but may provide more opportunity in the future. The compensation is $22 per hour, with an expected time frame of 16-20 hours in 4-5 days total. No weekends. The hours needed may be as little as 4 hours per day but no more than 6 hours per day.
