Our client in the manufacturing industry is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to join their team. As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the production team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to troubleshoot and maintain robotic equipment or related automated production systems, and possess strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work with little supervision.Job Title: Maintenance MechanicLocation: Kyle, TXPay Range: $18 per hourWhat's the Job?
Determine causes of operational problems or failures of production equipment.
Troubleshoot systems, using programmable controllers, electronics, circuit analysis, mechanics, sensor, etc.
Disassemble and reassemble robots or peripheral equipment to make repairs.
Maintain inventories of production supplies such as sensors and cables.
Modify computer-controlled robot movements.
What's Needed?
1-2 years of experience with Associates Degree preferred, or completion of related Technical School required.
Industry exposure with manufacturing, production, or related private service organization.
Implementation of production programs by ensuring staff training.
Develops production process solutions by collecting and analyzing information and recommending courses of action.
The ability to lift up to 25 pounds to move objects is required. Must possess strength, stamina, and mobility to perform low physical work indoors with minimum exposure to dust.
