Job DescriptionThis position is responsible for tuition and fee adjustments, billing for students and 3rd party contracts, and related communications. The position performs research and communicates with One Stop, students, parents, faculty, staff and vendors with questions regarding student account activity.Job Duties
Prepare tuition and fees billing for students and vendors to upload into Banner, Touchnet or other systems. Review all charges for accuracy and ensure billing jobs are scheduled. Send billing notifications and departmental e-mail reminders.
Process charge adjustments to student accounts. Notify departments of deadlines to submit charges for billing periods.
Process exemption, waivers and 3rd party vendor payment as credits to student accounts. Verifies appropriate documents are received and students are eligible for benefit.
Provide service to university departments, staff, and students regarding vendor accounts and/or student accounts. Research, analyze, and problem solve issues and/or inquiries regarding vendor or student accounts.
Receive and process Tuition Rebate applications from advisors, check for eligibility status, and prepare letters.
Verify and review accuracy of 1098-T information for system analyst prior to release.
Perform research and provide information as requested. Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
