The Rustic Mile, a locally owned furniture store, is seeking an experienced and dependable Delivery Driver to join our team in San Antonio.
Schedule:
Monday – Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Closed Sundays + 1 additional day off each week
Requirements (Do Not Apply If You Do Not Qualify):
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record (past 3 years)
Experience driving a 26 ft. box truck and making residential deliveries
Ability to pass drug screen and background check (no felonies within past 10 years)
Physically able to lift 75+ lbs and handle furniture safely all day
Professional appearance and good customer service skills
Must speak and understand English
Duties & Responsibilities:
Safely transport household furniture to customers’ homes
Load and unload truck for daily deliveries
Deliver, set up, and assemble furniture in customers’ homes
Maintain tools for installation and assembly
Ensure all paperwork is accurate, complete, and signed by customers
Communicate effectively with team members and customers
Inspect truck before and after trips; report maintenance needs
Keep assigned vehicle and equipment clean and safe
Assist with general warehouse duties when not on deliveries
Qualifications:
Box truck experience is required (CDL not required)
Strong, energetic, and able to handle physical work
Friendly, professional, and team-oriented
Willing to learn and take direction
