San Antonio Staffing is currently hiring a Pest Control Supervisor in the Southwest area of San Antonio.
Summary:
Responsible for supporting the Sanitation Assistant Supervisor oversees pest control and sanitation tasks including management of contractors related to pest control.
Responsibilities:
Help develop and implement strategic sanitation program, pest control program, policies, plans and processes to ensure that sanitary and pest control performance meet standards as well as support Food Safety requirement towards regulatory compliance.
Understand the requirements of the (Food Safety Manual, the company's food safety guidelines), develop necessary cleaning and insect control measures, and install or entrust to relevant business partners for management.
Manage annual sanitation and pest control plan, budget forecast and performance.
Manage related third-party company. For example, pest control company, sanitation company, waste manage company and so on.
Manage sanitation and pest control chemical supply and inventory.
Ensure that the plant is cleaned daily and ready to start production.
Manage the flour sifter mesh inspection as needed.
Manage waste water related equipment (DAF, Grease Trap) as needed.
Conduct inspections of factories from the perspective of pest control and food safety, and provide instructions or make requests to relevant departments for countermeasures as necessary.
Maintain good communication with subordinates, peers and other members of management.
Train and set safety and pest control goals for sanitation and pest control staff.
Maintain a safe work environment by training properly - Always raise safety awareness for chemical handling and equipment operation with Tag out Lock out training.
Participate in audits, facility inspections and coordinate daily inspection with the other Management.
Clearly communicate expectation to sanitation and pest control employees.
· Occasionally, some travel may be required (other facilities, training seminars, etc.)
Other duties may be assigned.

· Excellent planning, implementation and reviewing skills
Support coordinates all physical cleaning, pest control treatment and inspection activities.
· Problem solving and troubleshooting capabilities
· Excellent record keeping/documentation skills
· Ensures materials and supplies are available to perform duties, such as testing
· Conducts training for all new hires and as needed to ensure team meets Sanitation expectations
· Ensures compliance with safety and GMP requirements
· Ability to handle multiple priorities to meet company demands
· Demonstrates respectful attitude and fairness toward employees and management
· Follows directives from management team
· Strong leadership, managerial skills, and the ability to coach and develop employees.
· Able to prioritize/adjust quickly to changing work environment with minimal supervision to meet changing plant needs.
· Good written and verbal communication skills (English)
· Bilingual (Spanish) is a plus.
· Proficient use of personal computers and software including but not limited to Microsoft software: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access.
