Automotive Locksmith Needed – San Antonio and Austin
Repo Lot Work | High Volume
We are hiring an automotive locksmith to assist with high volume automotive locksmith work at our yard in San Antonio and Austin.
This is not retail locksmithing or roadside service. You will be working on-site with a consistent flow of vehicles, focused on auto key decoding and programming for domestic vehicles (Ford, GM, Chrysler, etc.) and select imports (Toyota, Nissan, etc.).
Lishi use is non-negotiable. If you can’t confidently decode locks using the correct Lishi tool, this isn’t the right role.
Requirements:
- Proficient with Lishi tools (standard cut and high-security decoding)
- Able to identify and select the correct tool per vehicle
- Understanding of transponder systems and how to select compatible keys
- Working knowledge of immobilizer systems: Ford, GM, Toyota, Chrysler, etc.
- Comfortable cutting and programming both transponder and proximity keys when all keys are lost
- Able to work in various weather conditions, including outdoor and warehouse environments
- Can take direction, work with a team, and stay focused without supervision
-Basic typing and writing skills.
Job Details:
- Location: Austin and San Antonio
- Schedule: Weekdays with the option to cut keys on the weekends.
- Pay: Approximately $100K plus bonus for locksmiths that can meet the requirements.
