We are a privately owned, fast growing Business Brokerage: helping people buy & sell premium Main Street Companies.
Right now, an excellent opportunity has opened up for a dedicated Team Member to be part of a new product launching, working closely w/ our senior Leadership Team.
This will provide a secure full-time job (or part-time if you prefer) from day-one, and substantial opportunities for advancement.
DETAILS OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
The job is simple:
Make Cold Calls & Follow Up to our Target Business Owners.
We have built a scalable & hugely profitable system for targeting a specific type of Business Owners to identify:
Your job will be calling these Business Owners (from Contact Info, using a Power Dialer, following a proven Call Script, all of which we provide), to:
a.) Have they thought about potentially selling their company? What is their exit strategy / succession plan?
b.) Are they in the market to buy out other companies? Have they completed an acquisition before, or just getting started?
c.) Capture their info, and if they are motivated as either a potential Seller OR Buyer, book them a Discovery Call w/ someone from our M&A Advisory team.
We'll provide the Script to follow.
We'll provide detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for how to use our CRM (HubSpot), as well as how to call the Business Owners, and how to answer their Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs).
You'll even be getting paid training, conducted personally by highly experienced Company Founders, on how to build rapid rapport with the type of unique Clients you'll be contacting.
NO M&A OR BUSINESS BROKERAGE EXPERIENCE REQUIRED!
This position does NOT require any type of license or certification, and requires ZERO previous Business Brokerage or Mergers & Acquisitions experience.
Obviously, if you have that type of experience (or even Real Estate experience, which is similar in many ways), it's great but NOT a requirement.
What the position does require, and what we're looking for in an ideal candidate will be someone with:
Excellent attention to detail. 75% of your job will be relentless follow up. Your target Prospects & Clients are busy, and difficult to reach. Your persistence will pay off substantially but you'll need to be able to stay on top of the Tasks in your CRM and take comprehensive notes on your contact attempts.
Very good demeanor on the phone. The people you'll be calling will not all be easy to talk to. They are busy entrepreneurs, who see your cold call as an interruption & potential time waster. Your ability to engage with business owners & entrepreneur-type people will come in handy here.
Ability to work undistracted, from home. This is a work-from-home Virtual / Telecommute position. You need your own computer, quiet working environment, and fast internet connection. If you have all these, and can work consistently from your home office, this position is a perfect fit.

While this is indeed a work-from-home Telecommute role
We would prefer someone who is willing, able, and ready to commit to full-time, 40+ hours per week of work.
That's because we have literally hundreds of thousands of prospects to call, and with our unique approach we are going to be first-to-market in this relatively untapped niche.
What that means is:
The more you can work, the better!
