Job Description Providers for the installation, setup, maintenance and troubleshooting of the network and server systems. Primary duties include monitoring, back up, recover and security of critical application environments. This team member works with the Help Desk to support network functions affecting the desktop user community. Job Responsibilities
- Administer to DNS, DHCP and WAN infrastructure, maintaining 24/7 operational availability of the network, servers, and electronic health information connectivity.
- Performs regularly scheduled maintenance and upgrades through the specified change management process.
- Use appropriate problem-solving techniques by considering time constraints, priority level of issue, strategic needs of the organization and use of industry standard processes.
- Assist senior level team members with technology analysis, system capacity planning, risk analysis and equipment acquisition.
- High level of support and assistance for disaster recovery exercises and emergency operations, as needed.
- Performs appropriate help desk tasks, as necessary, in a timely and professional manner.
- Supports and mentors junior members of the team.
- Perform on-call duties in support of network, servers, and enterprise applications.
- Performs high level of customer service support through timely ticket closings, good communication, professional and friendly demeanor, attention to detail and responsive follow up.
