We are seeking a skilled and reliable Irrigation Technician to join our team at GeoSprings Irrigation & Landscape. As an Irrigation Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing irrigation systems for our residential and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in irrigation systems, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
Install new irrigation systems according to design specifications.
Perform routine maintenance and inspections on existing irrigation systems.
Troubleshoot and repair irrigation system issues, including leaks, clogs, and electrical problems.
Adjust and program irrigation controllers to ensure efficient water usage.
Provide recommendations to clients for system improvements and upgrades.
Maintain accurate records of work performed and parts used.
Ensure all work complies with local codes and regulations.
Communicate effectively with clients to explain work performed and answer any questions.
Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects on time.
Qualifications:
Previous experience as an Irrigation Technician or in a similar role.
Strong knowledge of irrigation systems, components, and installation techniques.
Ability to read and interpret irrigation plans and blueprints.
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting heavy equipment and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications:
Certification in irrigation technology or related field.
Experience with smart irrigation controllers and water-efficient technologies.
