TEMP TO HIRE POSITION WITH A FLOORING COMPANY
An Epoxy Flooring Installer/Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and actively participating in all aspects of epoxy flooring installation projects, including surface preparation, mixing and applying epoxy resin, ensuring quality standards are met, managing a crew of installers, communicating with clients, and coordinating project timelines to deliver successful installations on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
Oversees all phases of the installation process, taking digital photos throughout, and responsible for ensuring completion of all required inspections.
Meets regularly to review the progress of each assigned project and to discuss and resolve outstanding problems or issues, as needed.
Assists on pre-site evaluations to ensure that any site concerns are addressed.
Ensures compliance with the use of all safety-related equipment on the job site as required by the OSHA and CFR Safety Programs.
Schedule and assign resources and team member responsibilities.
Manage on-site conditions
Manage materials on the job site.
Responsible for evaluating the performance of installation crews for each phase. Takes immediate corrective action when the workmanship is found to be sub-standard. If an individual or crew fails to respond and correct the problem, the FS is to report the event to the Project manager for further action.
Continuously ensures customer satisfaction and expectations are exceeded.
Some travel required for this position
Other projects and duties as required/assigned.
Willing to learn new techniques and improve processes
Experience
Experience in epoxy floor coating, including preparation and installation.
Skilled in grinding, shot blasting, and concrete surface prep for proper adhesion.
Knowledge of mixing, application and finishing techniques for high-performance flooring
4 plus ears of experience installing epoxy flooring
Experience in concrete coating, surface prep, or similar fields
Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials
Must have a valid DL and reliable transportation

8:00 TO 5:00 PM
$23.00 AN HOUR
