This is a full-time on-site role for a General Manager at Burger Boy in San Antonio, TX. The General Manager will be responsible for managing daily operations and drive results of restaurant through people development, sales and profit growth. The General Manager's duties are maintaining inventory, ensuring customer satisfaction, and overall profitability of the restaurant. The General Manager will also be responsible for hiring and training staff, developing and implementing marketing strategies, and maintaining compliance with local and state regulations.
Qualifications:
Strong leadership and management skills
Minimum of 5+ years experience in restaurant management
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Must possess excellent verbal and written skills
Knowledge and skills in staffing
Ability to manage and motivate staff
Ability to set goals, create plans and convert plans into action
Ability to measure performance, subjectively and objectively
Ability to recognize problems and problem solve
Ability to accept feedback and willingness to improve
Ability to lead, motivate and empower Burger Boy's staff to higher levels of performance
Local restaurant marketing experience a plus
Knowledge of Labor laws
Experience in budgeting and strategic planning
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
Flexibility to work varied hours, including weekends and holidays
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field is preferred
