Job DescriptionCyber Electronics Warfare & Space (CEWS) a division HII-Mission Technologies is currently seeking a System Engineer to support our Space Force Space Operations Command (SpOC) S2 and Delta 7 customer in San Antonio, TX!The 'Daytona IV' contract encompasses Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) support for the Space Operations Command (SpOC) / Special Missions Enterprise (S2Z) and Delta 7 (DEL7). S2Z supports numerous air, space and cyber-related mission partners/customers. Support includes organizing, training, and equipping (OT&E) functions to provide ISR capabilities that enable stakeholders to perform their respective missions. Contract support includes technical and functional support, detailed in subsequent sections.This contract will provide A&AS support for SpOC/S2Z and DEL7 with tailored lifecycle ISR support to SCI and Special Access Program (SAP)/Special Access Required (SAR) Research, Development, Test & Evaluation (RDT&E) and Operations & Maintenance through threat definition, concept exploration, capability development, system acquisition, and sustainment. These A&AS enables Space Control (SC), Cyberspace Operations (CO), and Electronic Warfare (EW) capabilities for Major Commands (MAJCOMs) and Combatant Commanders (CCDRs) as well as mutual intelligence sharing with the Intelligence Community (IC).Essential Job Responsibilities- Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.
- Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
- Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.
- Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
- Provide advice, assistance, and project management expertise for acquisitions strategies and management of sensitive portfolios supporting SpOC system life cycle support.
- Track, advise, and provide assistance to organizations and assist with creation of a robust intelligence requirements management programs consistent with government approved priorities, vision and requirements.
- Track and provide intelligence collection and production support for operational planning and execution, capability assessments, and policy advice on the tasking of intelligence collection assets.
- At least five years of experience within the last ten years directly related to enterprise architecture development involving DoDAF, industry standards/languages, and model driven engineering principles.
- Must hold a Bachelor of Science degree in a related technical field (i.e: systems engineering, electrical/electronic engineering, software engineering, computer science).
- Must hold and maintain one of the following:
- International Council on Systems Engineering (INCOSE)
- Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP)
- Certification or Defense Acquisition University (DAU) Level II Engineering
- 15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field;
- 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field;
- 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.
- Experience using Enterprise Architect Framework software
