DescriptionRobert Half Technology's client is in need of a Software Developer to join their team. This long-term temporary employment opportunity is based in the San Antonio, Texas area.Responsibilities
Routinely operate code-review and team up with other developers
Do business with Scrum team to submit meticulous work estimates
The primary function of this job is to maintain and develop new features to internal and external facing software to enhance the customer experience and resolve issues on various operating systems
Adjust and present production support
Render clear and consistent notifications around solutions and time estimate to client-facing program management teams
Requirements
Less than one year of experience required
It is preferred for applicants to have experience with software development life cycles, e.g. Agile, Big Bang, Spiral, Waterfall, etc.
We are particularly looking for candiates who can write clean, standardized code that performs optimally in highly concurrent environments
Applicants with familiarity with full-stack development (front-end, to middle/application tier, to database) are strongly preferred
We are particularly looking for candidates with knowledge of education standards such as QTI/APIP, SIF, AIF
Prior work with API design
Proficiency in object oriented programming
Quality experience with PHP Development
JavaScript experience desired
Wide ranging experience with PHP
Foundational knowledge in Angular JS
General familiarity with C#
React experience highly desired
Ajax experience
Proven knowledge of React.js
Practical knowledge of Python
Well-founded grasp of Npm
Applicants with experience with at least one framework/library, e.g. Vue.js, Polymer, Angular.js, React.js, Ractive.js, Knockout.js, Ember.js, Bootstrap, etc. are preferred.
