Field Service Technician II

Support the on-site installation, servicing and repair processes of complex equipment and systems. You typically work under direct supervision and may work without supervision. You will follow detailed work instruction and escalate any discrepancies in customer requirements, blue prints, or work instructions. You will identify, escalate, and explore opportunities to improve the installation or repair procedures. You will escalate any administrative difficulties relating to delivery and installation of proper equipment. You will support the training of the customer on proper usage for complex systems.Key Responsibilities

Inspect for Quality

Install or Repair per Work Order

Escalate Issues

Provide Customer Support

Can independently troubleshoot and repair complex issues

Can program 2-3 responsibilities at an expert level

Perform complex system back-ups and install appropriate updates and patches

Build quotes, sell and attend necessary business meetings with customers

Program EBI's at an expert level

Understand and apply knowledge of virtual machines, system imaging, and networking to serve the needs of customers for complex issues (may need to possess certifications)

Oversee the technical work for high profile clients

Complete required documentation for work performed or other contractual obligations

Proper use of safety PPE

Security and other clearances as required by customer

YOU MUST HAVE

High School Diploma or GED.

4+ years of experience in related field

Ability to work independently

Ability to travel throughout the service area

Valid Driver's License and driving record acceptable to Honeywell

WE VALUE

7+ years of experience is a plus

BACnet, LonWorks, experience is preferred but not required

Technical training

Strategic Mindset

Previous industry experience

Previous technical/installation experience

Previous customer service experience

Good written and oral communication

Ability to follow instructions

Bachelor degree or technical/professional certificate
