job detailsjob summary:As a Controls System Engineer you will provide onsite support for system related projects, focusing on MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) product software and other advanced software solutions. Your expertise in troubleshooting software and production processes will be critical in ensuring the seamless operation and integration of these systems.What you will do:
You will report to a regional delivery manager directly and an assigned project manager for specific project work.
You will be based onsite at a customer mfg facility. This is not a remote position.
Analyze and document customer's requirements to determine the information system solution and determine applicable control configuration/architecture.
Perform conceptual information systems design, determination of system strategy, design of assembled programming
Provide onsite system startup, deployment, testing and training.
Understand IT/OT industry specific applications around information solutions, Analytics and MES.
Plan, schedule and monitor resources for projects including setting and managing time-scales and estimates.
Provide verbal and written reports to communicate project status and contribute to project review meetings.
Interpersonal
You will work with several project team members from shop floor manufacturing to upper management
Maintain customer relationship
You will need to integrate with diverse team of project members and across multiple time zones
Business
You will participate in the preparation and presentation of technical topics, as applicable
Coordinate customer requirements with engineering and other appropriate departments to ensure excellent customer satisfaction is achieved
Basic Qualifications:
2+ years (approx.) of professional experience producing technical/functional work product

Preferred Qualifications:
A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
Prior MES experience
Related control systems application experience of 3 years
Knowledge of industrial controllers and communications protocols
Knowledge of computer networks configuration and troubleshooting
Very good written and spoken English
