Primary job responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Preparation of both federal and state income tax returns for individuals and businesses
Tax research and planning
Bookkeeping associated with some client accounts.
Preferred Requirements are:
At least two (2) years of tax preparation experience at a public accounting firm
The two years of experience must have occurred within the past three (3) years
Beneficial characteristics would include (but not required):
Bachelor’s degree in accounting
A Texas CPA license
Experience with general ledger software such as QuickBooks and Xero
Experience with CCH products, including ProSystem Pfx Tax, Fixed Assets, and Engagement
We will require passing background check and drug test; and comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures, and regulations. Hours: Full-time, M-F, 8am-5pm; hybrid work from home and office can be an option.
