Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are searching for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Rockwall, Texas. In this role, you will be responsible for handling all aspects of accounting, including full cycle AP/AR, commercial and consumer collections, bank and credit card reconciliations, and full cycle payroll for a large team of 150+ employees. This role also involves HR administration, including maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance, and managing benefits administration.Responsibilities: Manage full cycle accounts payable and accounts receivable Handle commercial and consumer collections Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations Oversee full cycle payroll and payroll tax for a large team, including garnishments, 401k, and benefits deductions Carry out HR administration tasks such as maintaining employee records, ensuring compliance with unemployment law, and administering benefits UtilizeQuickBooks Desktop Perform general ledger functions and prepare journal entries Execute annual budget and cash flow analysis Manage billing processes Perform credit card reconciliation.Requirements Must hold a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role as a Full Charge Bookkeeper or Accountant Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required Strong understanding of Computerized Accounting System is necessary Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required Experience in handling Accounting Functions is crucial Must be well-versed with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience in preparing Annual Budgets is required Should possess skills in Cash Flow Analysis Proficiency in QuickBooks or QuickBooks Enterprise is essential Prior experience in Full Cycle Payroll is necessary Must hold experience in Bank Reconciliations and Credit Card Reconciliation Experience in Billing procedures is a must Should be skilled in making Journal Entries and managing General LedgerRobert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
