Can you imagine making this type of impact?The responsibilities of a Fault Detection Engineer in this role include:
Support manufacturing operations in a high-volume manufacturing 300mm wafer Fab running Analog Technologies
Develop and implement improved equipment fault detection (FDC) models to prevent excursions and scrap events.
Identify systemic problems in either process or equipment related sources and communicating findings to the engineering staff
Support the manufacturing ramp with execution of FDC models that accelerate equipment/process startup and process experiments
Participate in data analysis and problem resolution
QualificationsMinimum requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, Electrical Engineering, Materials Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering field
1 year of relevant experience in Semiconductor Manufacturing
Strong foundation in statistical process control
Experience with FDC software (eg. TIMS, Artist, E3, Fabguard)
Preferred qualifications:
Experience working in high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment
Demonstrated strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work in teams and collaborate effectively with people in different functions
Strong time management skills that enable on-time project delivery
Demonstrated ability to build strong, influential relationships
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment
Ability to take the initiative and drive for results
Experience with scripting languages Perl or Python
