Keystone Engineering is currently seeking a Project Manager t o join our Port Arthur Team. Position Type: Full-time Location: Port Arthur, TX Work Environment/Physical Demands: Office/Sedentary Travel Requirements : Occasional site visits required. Essential Functions:
Perform with a technical concentration in the design discipline and manage multi-discipline projects.
Oversee project execution and coordinate design resources.
Lead by example to ensure safe work practices are adhered to and follow all site procedures and policies.
Ensure that project planning accounts for all project phases, including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, startup, and normal operation.
Ensure project meets environmental regulations; safety regulations; corporate, site, and industry engineering standards.
Coordinate with clients and third parties regarding project scope, status, and technical interface issues.
Visit client sites to evaluate the site, project requirements, and conditions .
Provide concise, factual project designs, allowing effective construction/installation.
Work with other engineers, designers, construction QA/QC, and contractors.
Work effectively within established budgets and deadlines.
Identify various issues within projects, leads the development of solutions, and ensure solutions are implemented.
Conduct regular team meetings and maintains project goals.
Maintain third parties such as external contractors regarding schedules and working practices.
Prepare and reviews contract documents, construction drawings, and specifications for code compliance and construction procedures.
Develop and delivers project schedules for engineering, procurement, construction, and closeout activities of the project.
Generate progressive project cost estimates and schedules for Construction Coordinators/Planners.
Understand project performance metrics and follow projects through completion.
Requirements:
B.S. in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program.
5-10+ years of refining, petrochemicals, and/or chemicals industries, experience.
Experience working within a multidiscipline project team.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Self-motivated, organized, and solution advocate.
Attention to detail.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
Experience Preferred:
P.E. license or pursuing a license.
B.S. in Chemical Engineering graduates encouraged to apply.
