- GBAMT ERFT - FICC technology group is responsible for the development and on-going support of the systems that support the Fixed Income Currencies and Commodities area in GBAMT ERFT vertical at the client
- The team is responsible for the smooth running of the complex global business systems, ranging from pricing, execution, risk management, surveillance, and regulatory reporting
- The Global Markets UI team in Plano is looking for a UI Developer
- The Global Markets UI is the strategic user interface platform for all Global Markets Applications at the client
- The platform is based on HTML/JavaScript/React/Openfin technologies and is under Global Leadership based in New York
- The Plano team provides application development for core elements of the framework and also participates in the development of flagship applications on the framework, provide technical support to tenant applications developed on the framework, and provide 2nd level end-user support for AMRS users of the framework when necessary
- This role requires strong development skills, the ability to operate in a dynamic, changing environment, the ability to take direction from the New York team daily, the ability to produce high-quality output, troubleshoot issues, and communicate clearly and concisely both in written and oral fashion
- The successful candidate will be involved in all stages of the software development life cycle and will have daily interaction with development teams across the globe
- The role will involve working on large project deliveries as well as on smaller enhancements with very short turnaround times
- 5+ years of extensive experience in developing full-stack applications in HTML/JavaScript/ReactJS
- Sound knowledge of software engineering design patterns and practices and object-oriented programming
- In-depth knowledge and experience with data structures and collections
- Experience in developing distributed systems
- Experience in full-stack development
- The candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The candidate should be a responsible, self-starter, and have the appetite to learn new technology
- Familiar with agile software development

- Able to work as a W2 employee of Genesis10 (no Corp-to-Corp)
- At least one mainstream object-oriented programming/functional programming language e.g. Python, Java, C#, C, C, F#, preferably Python
- Previous experience of trade capture or trade life cycle systems
- Experience with any financial asset classes would be very advantageous but not essential
- Prior experience with the client's Quartz platform is highly desirable
- For the right candidate, lack of Quartz experience is not a show stopper, however, must be able to quickly get up to speed on the framework
