Job Description:
  • Assist with the gathering of requirements for various development efforts.
  • Design, develop, document, test and debug new and existing software systems and/or applications for internal use, perform defect corrections (analysis, design, code).
  • Provide guidance and best practices in designing and application development specific to the technology being used.
  • Identify and provide estimates/ recommendations for infrastructure work needed.
  • Provide best practice recommendations for release planning to include work breakdown and task planning
  • Experience with Agile development methodology

location: PLANO, Texasjob type: Contractsalary: $70 - 85 per hourwork hours: 8am to 5pmeducation: Bachelors responsibilities:User Story analysis and development Participate in Agile ceremonies and Iteration planning through user story refinement, story sizing, development, Dev testing, demos, and deployments Total ownership of story / feature from start to finish including hand off to QA and Dev Ops Production Support and issue triage Identifies and manages existing and emerging risks that stem from business activities and the job role. Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled. Follows written risk and compliance policies and procedures for business activities. Design, develop, code, and test complex technical solutions collaborating with senior engineers. May lead code/design reviews to ensure smooth daily operations and accurate planning at a team level. May begin to organize work and lead team to deliver features and solutions. Resolves complex production issues with independence by troubleshooting complex applications and systems independently. May begin mentoring junior engineers. qualifications:
  • Experience level: Experienced
  • Minimum 8 years of experience
  • Education: Bachelors (required)
