Expand your career by working closely with a successful group of hospitalists evaluating, diagnosing and treating a variety of patients.POSITION DETAILS:Ø Assist Hospitalists with inpatient evaluations, H&P’s & follow-up visits.Ø Initiate appropriate treatment & testing for medical illnesses.Ø Complete history and physical examinations on all new admissionsØ Round on rehabilitation patients including long term acute care patientsØ Document using EMR system.Ø Participate in continuous quality improvement processes.IF YOU:Ø Enjoy working nights, 7PM to 7AM, 7 ON, 7 OFFØ Active listening, critical thinking, reading comprehension, effective communication, time management, judgement and decision makingØ Texas licensed and Certified Physician AssistantØ ACLS certificationØ 2 years of PA experience in ICU/CVICU required.Physician Assistant Qualifications:The Physician Assistant (“PA”) will be licensed as a physician assistant in the State of Texas and maintain such license in good standing at all times.
