Assistant Electrical Engineer - Healthcare Buildings

Join Olsson's Facility Engineering and Design Team as an Assistant Electrical Engineer and contribute to the innovative design of healthcare facilities. In this entry-level role, you will gain hands-on experience supporting engineering tasks, collaborating with experienced professionals, and learning the intricacies of designing reliable, high-performing systems that positively impact healthcare environments.Primary Responsibilities:Assist in designing electrical systems for small to medium-sized healthcare projects, applying standard engineering techniques and procedures.Support the preparation of project documents, including drawings, reports, and specifications, ensuring alignment with project scope, schedule, and budget.Conduct basic calculations and analyses, including load and power distribution, under the guidance of senior team members.Use design and modeling software to create and modify engineering drawings and layouts.Collaborate with project managers, clients, and team members to ensure successful project execution and clear communication.Participate in project meetings and contribute to the development of innovative solutions.Learn and apply knowledge of national codes, standards, and regulations relevant to healthcare design.We have one current opening and will consider candidates interested in being located out of our Plano or Fort Worth, TX office locations.
