Fisher Investments is growing quickly and we are looking for an Integration Architect (MuleSoft) to join our team! You will help support our firm's diverse departments by building relationships with collaborators, while consulting and managing a full range of controls with the Technology teams at an enterprise level.
The Opportunity: You will plan the architecture and solution design of enterprise application integration (EAI) using Mulesoft. As a technical expert, you will support several Technology Business Services teams, vendors and implementation partners while providing direction to application integration teams. Reporting directly to the MuleSoft Team Manager, you will survey the technology landscape and guide the evolution of the current environment to support future capabilities and requirements. The Day-to-Day:- Work with partners to gather business and technical requirements; Evaluate all proposed requests to determine fit with enterprise application integration architecture
- Develop Mulesoft APIs, document architecture and design specifications
- Oversee the Mulesoft platform including CloudHub and on-premises Mule servers
- Apply API-led connectivity concepts to programs and application design
- Provide technical direction to Mulesoft and application integration developers
- Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting on all Mulesoft applications and resolve issues
- Develop work plans for projects and prepare appropriate status reports for management
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an Integration Architect, 5 years of hands-on Mulesoft development experience
- BS or equivalent in Computer Science or related field or a combination of technical skills, management skills and application integration background
- Experience with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), API-led Mule architecture experience with Mule server administration and deployment (CloudHub, on-premises and hybrid)
- Experience with application integration design patterns and best practices
- Experience with Mule and API access control and security model
- Direct experience with Mulesoft Anypoint MQ and a variety of Mulesoft connectors such as Salesforce, SOAP/REST Web Services, File, Database, JMS and other on-premises or third-party applications
