Staff Accountant

Description We are in the process of adding a Staff Accountant to our team in the manufacturing industry, based in Odessa, Texas. As a Staff Accountant, you will be tasked with the efficient and accurate management of customer applications, keeping precise customer credit records, responding to customer inquiries, and monitoring customer accounts.Responsibilities: Execute and manage accounts payable and receivable operations Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure financial integrity Keep accurate records of customer credit applications Respond swiftly and effectively to customer inquiries Regularly monitor customer accounts and take necessary action Maintain and update the general ledger as required Prepare and post journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded Assist with month-end close procedures Utilize financial software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for efficient performace of tasks Contribute to audit processes as needed. Requirements Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) management Expertise in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) Experience with Bank Reconciliations Familiarity with General Ledger operations Ability to prepare and manage Journal Entries Skilled in Month End Close procedures Knowledge of NetSuite software Experience with Oracle software Proficiency in QuickBooks software Familiarity with SAP software in a manufacturing environment Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
