The Auto/Equipment Mechanic is responsible for all preventative and routine maintenance and repair of all rolling equipment that support farm operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical problems on vehicles and equipment.
Perform routine and preventative maintenance on all vehicles and equipment as required by manufacturer's specifications and SOP's
Trouble shoot maintenance issues will all equipment as needed.
Order appropriate parts and supplies to support the maintenance of all the equipment.
Keep vehicles and equipment downtime minimal in order to maintain efficiencies.
Work closely with the Complex Manager to identify and address issues that arise with the proper urgency.
Other duties may be assigned and subject to change in accordance with business needs.

Trouble shooting abilities.
Ability to work successfully with all levels of employees and management.
Self-motivation, independent work habits.
Ability to read and write English.
Basic welding skills is a plus.
Necessary tools to perform for responsibilities.
Education and/or Experience: High School or GED required and 5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education.
Experience working on all types of vehicles, and equipment.
Experience working on diesel and gas engines.

8 1/2 Hour Shift
Monday to Friday - 7:00am - 4:00pm
Weekends as needed
Hours: 43 per week
