Software Engineer Location: Lewisville, TX/RemoteDuration: 6 Months

Position OverviewBuild next generation applications to solve complex problems in the real estate industryWork with a world-class engineering, product and business teams to deliver innovative products for our customersDesign, build, and test high quality complex frameworks and systems while diagnosing and resolving complex issuesEnsure that implementation follows designs, and directs modifications of designsMentor, and develop eager junior and mid-level engineers

Skills & Experience RequirementsBachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with 7 years’ experience or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field with 5 years’ experience in Software Engineering.Experience in developing applications in open source stack such as Python, using any of the MVC frameworks like Flask, PostgreSQL, and NGINX on Linux platform.Strong knowledge in AngularJS, Ember, Vue or similar JavaScript framework(s) and related technologies. Experience with Git or similar version control.Real-world experience with load testing frameworks like jmeter or locust or similar

Preferred Experience IncludesExperience in any of the unit test frameworks like mocha, pyunit.Experience or Exposure on database scaling and leveraging tools for PostgreSQLExposure to any performance monitoring and improvements tools like Solarwinds, New Relic.
