Inspect, maintain and build new buildings.

Perform general maintenance, installation, repair and service.

Perform preventive maintenance inspections and semiannual roof inspections at various sites.

Effectively work with a variety of hand/power tools.

Pool knowledge with other Facility Maintenance Technicians to accomplish complex projects.

Complete work requests in a timely and professional manner.

Keep track of company truck and gas card.

Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.

Facility Maintenance Technician Minimum Qualifications:

Basic experience in the following areas: electrical, A/C, HVAC, plumbing or landscaping. (Please make sure you experience is in your resume)

Valid driver’s license (U-Haul Provides Company Truck)

Available 7 days a week/ Weekend and Holidays

D.O.T certification (can be sponsored by U-Haul)

Shift - Early Morning due to t our hot weather. The set schedule will be given during interview.-Maintenance is 7 days a week, roating schechedule with Maintenance crew.Starting pay at $15-$18 per hour / DOEU-Haul Offers:

Work Environment:The work involves moderate risks or discomforts which require special safety precautions, e.g. working around moving parts, machines, fumes or irritant chemicals.
