Minimum Requirements
-A minimum of 2 years of experience in flatbed and dry van trailer maintenance and repair, or equivalent training and experience.
-Readiness to work outdoors, in varying weather conditions, and potentially during nights or weekends if required.
-We are looking for someone that works well with others and is also a team player.
We are seeking someone who has basic mechanic experience in
- tractor and trailer brakes
- air leak repairs
- water leak repairs
- preventive maintenance service on tractors and trailers
- diagnostic repairs
- change out tractor and trailer tires
- Basic computer skills
- Electrical experience
Responsibilities include , but are not limited to:
- Perform quality inspections of diesel trucks to identify necessary and recommended repairs
- Diagnose, adjust, and repair, and heavy trucks including: electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning and transmission
- Part replacements on trucks such as alternators, batteries, mirrors, hoses, headlights, air lines
- Trailer seal, gasket replacements, brakes, wheels, valve repair, light, etc.
