Location: Central Texas

Schedule: Full-time, minimum 40 hours/week

Compensation: $34/hour

As demand for solar and energy storage continues to rise, we're expanding our team and looking for licensed Journeyman Electricians to join us in delivering high-quality solar and battery installations.

Job Description:
As a Journeyman Electrician, you will be responsible for the electrical portion of residential and small-scale commercial solar PV system installations — including battery storage systems. You will work closely with our installation teams to ensure all systems are installed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with local and national electrical codes.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform electrical work associated with solar PV and battery storage installations (including wiring, conduit runs, panel and inverter connections, battery integration, etc.)

Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings

Install and commission energy storage systems (e.g., Tesla Powerwall or similar)

Conduct electrical inspections and testing of completed systems

Ensure all work meets NEC and local code requirements

Coordinate with project managers and installation teams

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements:

Valid Texas Journeyman Electrician License (mandatory)

Minimum 2 years of electrical experience (solar experience preferred, but not required)

Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC)

Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings

Comfortable working outdoors and on rooftops

OSHA 10 or 30 certification is a plus

Excellent communication and teamwork skills
