DescriptionOur client is seeking a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join their Professional Services team. The Full Charge Bookkeeper position is responsible for overseeing cash flow, financial statement preparation, audit, full cycle A/P, payroll, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close. The Full Charge Bookkeeper will also take care of the clerical staff. Self-driven and organized accounting professionals might be interested in this Bookkeeper role if they thrive under tight deadlines with minimal supervision. This full-time employment opportunity is based in the Keller, Texas area.Responsibilities Manage the accounting function from end to end, including such tasks as bank reconciliation, G/L, AR/AP, invoicing, collections, budgeting, asset management, end of year closeout, sales tax, and similar areas. Provide general office management around our office space, supplies, and general coordination, Handle benefits administration including our Health, 401(k), FSA and PTO management Conduct onboarding of new team members to ensure 100% compliance with state and federal regulations, Continue helping us build out more of our human resources function of recruiting, interviewing, hiring and similar functions. Help us live our core values and coordinate our lunch and learns, quarterly themes, cook-ins and company partiesRequirements
Excellent attention to detail
BA/BS in Accounting, Finance, Economics or other business-related field preferred
Notable accounting experience, including as a Bookkeeper preferred
Highly organized and self-motivated
Seizes opportunities to produce results without direct supervision
Microsoft Excel experience
Human Resources (HR) Administration experience preferred
Full charge bookkeeping experience
Proficiency in QuickBooks
Top notch analytical, organizational, and vendor management skills
Ability and willingness to meet business critical deadlines
Comfortable working in a changing and dynamic environment
Strong communication and interpersonal skills (verbal, written, and listening)
