Job Details Division: [[divisionobj]] Location: [[filter4]] , [[filter3]] , [[filter2]] Other Available Locations: [[mfield1]] Compensation DataSALARY: $90,000 - $125,000 plus ROA Bonus, Relocation Assistance Basic Job Functions:The Environmental Engineer is responsible for leading the safety, sustainability, and environmental compliance for the division and maintaining compliance with all environmental programs (air, water, waste, radiation) including permitting and reporting. This individual will be responsible for interacting with the Nucor team to assist development and improvement of both the Nucor Steel Texas Environmental department and the division. This role is responsible for maintaining permitting and compliance with the sites Title V air permit, overseeing contractors, conducting environmental projects, tracking on-site waste generation, waste disposal, recycling, and energy use. This individual will play an integral role in the education and training of the Nucor team, actively engaging with the plant wide team for solutions to problems and promoting continuous improvement. This role also requires working with and building relationships with Environmental Regulators, interpreting environmental regulations, and planning community outreach and education activities. This position will require some travel. Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelors degree in Engineering/Environmental fields.

5 years experience in an Engineering or Environmental related field.

Experience in environmental compliance in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Experience with air permitting including Title V.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working with TCEQ regulations.

Experience in programs such as the Clean Air Act, Clean Water Act, and RCRA regulations.

Experience in air pollution, control operations, water treatment operations, hazardous waste or radiation safety.
