Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Mechanic Helper for a company based in North Houston, Tx.
Pay Rate
$23.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Saturday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
1 day off during the week
Overtime required!
Job Title Duties and Responsibilities
Repairing and replacing tires on commercial vehicles such as trucks, 18 wheelers, trailers etc.
. Experience in Chassis
Must be able to lift 50lbs min.
Inspecting tire casings for defects and damages
Experience with Commercial Tires a must.
. Diesel experience a plus
Mechanic background preferred.
Diagnosing mechanical problems and determining how to correct them.
Keeping records of scheduled maintenance and repair work.
Inspecting and verifying parts for accuracy and quality.
Cleaning and organizing the workshop and work areas to maintain a safe and efficient working environment.
Job Title Qualifications and Requirements
High School Diploma or GED.
Must be bilingual in English and Spanish.
Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
Must be self-motivated and proactive.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Knowledge of good warehousing practices.
