We are an independent service provider for FedEx Ground. Our team is responsible for delivering and picking up FedEx Ground packages throughout the Houston area. We are currently hiring full time drivers at the North Station. The work days available are Monday - Sunday. If needed, there is flexibility in scheduling work days. A benefit of being a seven day a week operation.
Pay is Competive pay per week depending on experience and whether working 5 or 6 days.
This job is physically and mentally demanding, fast paced and requires integrity, organization and high energy. Drivers must be safe, organized, show up to work daily, possess excellent customer service skills, be professional, detail-oriented, a team player and enjoy driving and delivering. Training is provided.
Minimum Requirements: Class C driver's license. Driver must be at least 21 years of age, pass a criminal and motor vehicle background check, pass a drug screening test and DOT physical exam and have one year experience driving a 16 foot box truck (minimum) or larger or other commercial truck vehicle. Driver must possess excellent customer service skills, be able to complete daily deliveries and pickups and be able to lift and carry up to 150 lbs up and down stairs.
Experience Needed: commercial driving experience. NO CDL needed.
