Location: Houston & Travel

Based in Houston with Traveling Projects

Company: Growing Commercial Construction Company with some Residential

Employment: Full-time

Salary: $60-$70k (negotiable based on experience) + Commission on Projects. Must be a US citizen & able to fly as needed for out of state jobs.

We are a growing commercial construction company that is a leading provider of custom millwork solutions and cabinetry delivering high-quality products and exceptional service to our clients. We specialize in custom millwork, custom cabinets (including paint, stain, and laminate), and other complex installs such as wall panels, column wraps, acoustic wall tiles, ceiling tiles, etc. Our team is passionate about craftsmanship and innovation, and we are looking for an experienced millwork / carpentry project manager to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Millwork project manager who is a U.S. citizen to oversee and manage millwork and cabinetry projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will be bilingual and have a strong background in millwork and construction, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead a team effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

Manage multiple projects concurrently, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

Collaborate with clients, architects, and designers to understand project requirements and specifications.

Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgets.

Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely fabrication and delivery of millwork products.

Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address any issues, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.

Foster strong relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and team members.

Resolve conflicts and negotiate changes to project scope as necessary.

Ensure all documentation, including contracts, change orders, and project schedules, are accurate and up-to-date.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree (preferred, not required) in Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.

- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project management, preferably in the millwork or construction industry.

- Strong knowledge of millwork fabrication processes, materials, and techniques.

- Proficient in project management software and tools, (microsoft, one drive, excel)

- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.

- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

- Must be able to travel as needed for out of state projects.

- Must be a U.S. citizen.
