Northwest Houston company is seeking to add an experienced Mechanical Technician to their team. As a Hydraulic and Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting hydraulic and mechanical systems.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Assemble and test hydraulic and mechanical systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and hoses.
· Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and hydraulic schematics.
· Perform mechanical assembly, including fitting and attaching parts like gears, bearings, shafts, and fasteners.
· Inspect and ensure quality control of parts and equipment to meet safety and operational standards.
· Conduct hydrotesting and troubleshoot issues with hydraulic and mechanical components.
REQUIREMENTS:
· Strong knowledge of hydraulic systems, components, and troubleshooting techniques.
· Familiarity with mechanical assembly tools, such as wrenches, torque tools, and power tools
· Ability to read and understand technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints.
· Must be proficient in reading measurement devices such as tape, dial calipers and gauges
· Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex hydraulic and mechanical issues.
