We are currently looking for an HVAC Technician who is HVAC and EPA certified and able to work in a fast-paced environment, work onsite at 322 Riley Road and able to travel.
Responsibilities:
Maintenance, diagnosis, troubleshooting, repair, installations and field service related to the Company’s HVAC fleet.
Following appropriate work procedures and upholding company safety standards.
Working overtime hours when business needs dictate.
Various other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Requirements:
Minimum 3 years’ experience HVAC troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance required and a high school diploma or equivalent GED
HVAC Certification required
Universal EPA card required
Candidates must be able to show proof of completing a qualified trade or technical school or having completed a qualified apprenticeship program
Must be proficient in low and high voltage circuitry, preventative maintenance, reading blueprints and wire diagrams, leak detection and brazing, mechanical and electrical component swaps, and proper management of refrigeration circuits (evacuation, vacuum, recharge, top offs, etc.)
Must be able to lift/move/carry approximately 50-70 lbs. repetitively
Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively required
Must be able to interpret directions in written, oral, diagram or schedule format
Attention to detail is required
Forklift and pallet jack experience is a plus
Must be able to pass TWIC, OSHA, and DISA certification requirements
Candidates must have clean driving history, be able to pass a criminal background check and drug test
Must have valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to shops and/or job sites
Able to work outside of normal hours, out of town, and weekends as required
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:
Work is performed in settings that may not be climate controlled; some work is performed in warehouses; some is outdoors with exposure to the elements
Business casual atmosphere/attire
Must be able to stand or walk for long periods of time
Use of arms and hands to reach for, handle and manipulate objects required
Must be able to carry tools and equipment
Must be able to work while stooped, kneeling, crouched and in crawling positions
