Pacesetter Personnel Services is looking for a Heavy Equipment Mechanic for our client located in the Katy Area.
The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining and repairing heavy equipment, including forklifts, front-end loaders, dozers, excavators, and other large machinery. They will be responsible for ensuring that all equipment is in good working order and will be expected to work independently with minimal supervision.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
- Using mechanical and electrical knowledge, Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with heavy equipment, such as Caterpillar machines.
- Conduct repairs and overhauls on heavy equipment, including welding and fabricating.
- Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and lubricated.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in automotive repair and maintenance of heavy equipment.
- Familiarity with Caterpillar machines and other large machinery.
- Strong mechanical knowledge and the ability to troubleshoot and diagnose issues.
· Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 7:00 am - 5:00 pm. Weekends as needed.
Pay:
$23.00 an hour. We pay weekly.
